Last Christmas I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away

Täällä odotetaan vieläkin lunta.... lumen sijaan ulkona vain sataa. ;(  >:/

Joten minun oli tarkoitus postata viime vuoden joulu ja talvi kuvia, mutta ne ovat yhdellä muistitikulla kaikki ja tikku on jossain äidillä viime kesän muuton jäljiltä....

Mutta tässä muutama muu kuva :)) Toivottavasti ne kääntävät ajatukset pois sateesta, onhan lumella loppujenlopuksi 24 päivää aikaa tulla. ;))

We're still waiting for snow here in Finland... but it's just raining. ;(

So I was supposed to put here some last years Christmas and winter photos, but their all on one memorystick which mum has lost somewhere, because of the move last summer......

But here some other nice pictures :)) Hopefully their cheer you too up, the snow has after all 24 days time to fall. ;))

It was the first Advent last sunday! Three left, and we're in Christmas! ;) 

Moomin, Snufkin and "Hattifatteners" (those white electric things, not sure what they're called in English...)

We made those with my sister, because we celebrated Advent, my family and our friendfamily. :))

It was really nice listening to Christmas carrols and eating gingerbreads (pipareita) and drinking mulled wine (glögi). But I've got to say that there is two carrols which I fell in love with.

I watched one episode of Glee and it happened to be the Christmas episode. They sang "Last Christmas" and "All I want for Christmas" and they sang so beautyfully! <3

After that I've tried to watch Glee more, because it's really a fun series. :D

Not only the singing, also the drama between the choir members. ;))

Nearly the same figure? ^.^'

I got bored with the ordinary dots and lines, so I figured I could make a six-pack for Moomin ;D

I borrowed Pandora Hearts 1 and 2 from my friend Inka. I haden't met her and her twin for a long time so it was really nice to go out for a coffee and talk. We do write letters (they don't like computers) but it's nice to meet face to face every now and then. :))

But Pandora Hearts is really good! I think I'll read it for a second time, because it is so good and I don't know how long I'll have to wait for the 3. book... ;))

This is my last years Christmas calendar. I bought it because it's cute and back when I was a kid I loved the "Myyrä" figure with the hat. It's a children's program. :))

And to save money (and because I still like this one) I'll have the same calendar for this year too. :D

Tomorrow I'll get to open the first!! ;D

One month time to buy the christmas presents!

Yeees!! Only one month until it's christmas!! <3
I've already bought some presents, but thankfully there's still time for that. ;)
But there's one important thing that's missing.
There is no christmas, and no winter eighter, without snow.
Everybody here in Finland are waiting and hoping for snow.... ://
Because, it's not christmas without two meters of snow, traffic jams and -30 C. ;D
But! There's still one whole month time for the snow to fall! ;)

Newspaper nails comeback!

Teinpä uudestaan Sanomalehti kynnet! :D

Nyt onnistui jo paremmin, teksti tarttui hyvin ja laitoinpa vähän tarroja ja timantteja kin. :))

Violettia lakkaa sain kun sekoitin vaaleansinistä punaiseen, vaikka sainkin sekoittaa jonkin aikaa, mutta väristä tuli loppujen lopuksi ihan hieno. :)

Kynsitarroja pitäisi ostaa lisää samaten uutta kynsilakkaa, muttakun ne ovat niin kalliita... ;S

 

So I made again Newspaper -nails! :D

Now they worked out even better, the text sticked nicely and I even put some stickers and diamondes on them. :))

I got violet nail polish by mixing light blue and red, altough I had to mix a lot of blue into the red, until I got the right tone. But it turned out to be quite nice. :)

I should buy some more stickers and polish, but it's so expencive... ;S

Kävimme luokan kanssa Hesassa opiskelu tutustumisella.

Kaikki valitsivat kaksi yliopistoa mihin halusivat mennä tutustumaan (minun kohdallani Vik ja Soc&kom).

Olenhan Hesassa käynyt ennenkin, mutta tietysti kuvia piti ottaa ;) (opettaja sai hyvät naurut kun kävelin keskustassa ympäri kamera valmiusasemissa) xD

Mutta tässä nyt muutama kuva mitä nyt ehdittiin näkemään. :)

We went with school to Helsinki, the capital of Finland, to a "study visit".

Everyone selected two universitys which they wanted to go explore (I selected Vik and Soc&kom).

I've been to Helsinki before, but ofcourse I had to take pictures. ;) (my teacher got good laughs when I walked in the center with my camera ready to shoot) xD

But here some photos of what we had time to see. :)

Tuntuu että minun pitäisi tietää mikä tämä rakennus on, mutta en kuitenkaan tiedä... :S

Tässäkin vähän sellainen olo että pitäisi ehkä tuntea mutta ei ole mitään tietoa mikä tämä rakennus on. x) Mutta tosi hieno arkkitehtuuri!! (vai voiko niin sanoa? ;) )

Mukavaa oli, hauskaa ei niinkään kun kiersimme vain yliopistoja (paitsi opettajalla oli hauskaa minun ja kamerani ansiosta ;)) )

It was nice, but not too fun because we went only too some universitys (except for my teacher who had fun thanks to me and my camera ;)) )

Itse en juhlinut mitenkään ja päätin jopa jättää  homman kokonan huomiotta. Kun ei nuo välit isään ole ihan normaalit..
Mutta! Eilen siivosimme siskon ja äidin kanssa etu- ja takapihan. :) Löysimme neljä pientä puuntainta, jotka istutimme etupihan penkkiin. :D

I  didn't celebrate it in any way and I even decided to not notice it in any way. Since my relation with my father are not ordinary..
But! Yesterday I cleaned up the front- and backyard with my sister and mother. :) We found four small plants, which we planted in frontyards flowerbed. :D

This book we'll have to read for the next English -course.
I guess it's good, because I've read a another book from the same author "A thousand splendid suns"
and it is a awesomely good book!

I took a photo of my Moomin muggs for my History essay.
We had to choose some subject that has to do with the Finnish history, and I chose Moomin. ;D

                      
Katsoin tuossa vähän aikaa sitten parhaan elokuvan pitkiin aikoihin. ->> Inception!
Elokuvassa oli mahtavat tehosteet, jännittävä ja mukaansatempaava juoni, ja vaikka elokuva on 2,5 tuntia pitkä, en kyllästynyt kertaakaan. Mutta juonta täytyy seurata tarkkaan, mieluiten katsoa kaksi kertaa, jotta kaiken ymmärtää. :D Mutta suosittelen elokuvaa lämpimästi!! <3


I watched a while ago one of the best movies I've seen for a while. ->> Inception!
The effects are awesome, exciting and spellbinding plot, and even though the movie lasts for 2,5 hours, I didn't get bored even once. But you have to follow closely, preferably watch it two times, to understand everything. :D But I really recomend the movie !! <3

Pikkuveljellä oli syntymäpäivät, joten äiti teki kermakakun ja mummu juuustokakun. ;))

Mum made a creamcake and grandmother made a cheesecake for my brothers birthday. ;)) (cheesecake is juustokakku in Finnish, and this blogs name is juustokakku)

On ollut niin paljon tekemistä viime aikoina, että en ole ehtinyt päivittämään blogia.
Kolme koetta viime viikolla, ensi viikolla ja vielä sitä seuraavalla viikolla... -.-''

I've had so much to do the last few weeks, that I haven't had time to update my blog.

Kävin myös katsomassa Kolme Muskettisoturia -elokuvan, ja se oli kyllä rakkautta ensiminuuteilla.
Elokuvassa oli hienot tehosteet, mahtavia miekkailukohtauksia, kauniita pukuja, hauska ja hieno juoni ja tietysti hyvät (ja hyvännäköiset) näyttelijät. ;)

I was in the movies watching the Three Musketeeres, and it was love already at the first minutes.
The effects were great, the fencing acts were cool, there was beautyful dresses, a nice and funny plot and there was ofcourse good (and handsome) actores. ;)
I highly recommend! :))

Pakkoruotsi vai Hyötyruotsi?

Ja alltså, tänkte jag att jag måste skriva lite något på svenska hit, då jag ändå är finlandssvensk. :)

Jag förstår er väl. Man borde ha mindre obligatorisk svenska, och istället ha valfri svenska.
Man kunde ha ett par obligatoriska kurser i högstadiet, där man lär lite grunder och lite något om svensk kultur och t.ex. om svensk musik, kända svenskar och annat intressant och roligt om Sverige, så att man ser lite hurdant det är. Sedan kunde man ha valfria kurser åt dem som tycker om det. :)

Dethär vore ett ganska lätt och säkert effektivt sätt att minska på den dåliga inställningen mot svenskan i Finland. För det är ju ändå så att Sverige och Finland har en lång gemensam historia, det har funnits stora svenskar i Finlsnds historia och kulturerna är even lika varandra.
Så det är sorligt att svenskar och finnar inte kan acceptera varandra i Finland.
